"When I arrived at my house on October 1st, I was very well received by my landlady, who was very enthusiastic about my arrival. Me and my flatmates were the first interns to live in that beautiful house. "

"Aline and her husband Alain have been the very best hosts you can imagine. And this is not just because they are super nice and very welcoming from the first day onwards, they also do everything so that you feel happy in the apartment. The apartment is very pretty and extremely clean. You have everything you need there (kitchen, bathroom, etc.) and it was really a pleasure for me to stay there during my internship. This was definitely the best experience that I have ever had living in a foreign city. I can definitely recommend this apartment to everyone - especially to those who do an internship near the EU district as it is situated only 5min away from the parliament by feet."

"I stayed 6 months in the Red Flat and I enjoyed it so much! From day one I felt like being at home and Aline and Alain were perfect hosts. They cared a lot about my needs and in case I needed anything they provided it immediately. They are very friendly and I really liked their cats. The flat is fully equipped, I didn't even have to bring towels. Also the location is a safe place and there are busses, trams and metros just nearby. The parliament is very close as well and there are always many young people there. In case I would come back to Brussels I would definitely want to go back to them and I can only recommend this place to everyone! "

"I have truly enjoyed staying in the Red Flat. The flat is amazing, a perfect size for one person staying for either shorter or longer period. The room is on the quite, garden side of the house and the kitchen is on the street side, which is beautiful as there is also a small balcony. Aline and Alain are amazing hosts; they would help you with anything you needed. The flat is situated very close to the European Quarter, basically it is a five-minutes walk. All in all, I would choose the flat again as I had amazing 6 months in Brussels, staying at the Red Flat."

"I stayed in the red flat for 3 weeks whilst on a French course at the Alliance Francaise. The flat is very well located, right in the heart of the European quarter, only a short walk from the Alliance, from Trone metro station and the main EU institutions. Ixelles also has very good amenities – shops, supermarkets, post office, restaurants and bars – which are nearby. Aline & Alain were very kind and helpful, catering for my every need. They provided lots of helpful information about the surrounding area and amenities, and what to do in Brussels. The flat is bright, airy and well appointed, with a well equiped kitchen, bath & shower, wifi, etc. It's perfect for a stay in Brussels. All in all I would very much recommend the red flat for anyone staying in Brussels for an extended period."

"I stayed here for about 4.5 months and loved it. Aline and Alain are so accommodating and have great suggestions for activities to do, and are really friendly as well. During my stay, I dislocated my kneecap, and as the apartment is on the first floor of the house, I needed to climb up stairs every time I needed to go in and out, but they were really helpful with even helping me with groceries and cooking for the first part of my recovery until I could do it myself. They have 3 lovely cats, one of whom is extremely sociable and comes to the apartment often to play. The studio is pretty large-- it has 2 rooms on either side of the common stairwell of the house: on one side is the bedroom, with a bed, extra mattress, cupboards, a desk and a TV and it looks out onto the garden, and the other side is the kitchen and bathroom. It is fully equipped with a fridge, two burners, microwave and oven. There is also very reliable, fast Wifi in the house. Essentially, this apartment is an amazing place to be if you're staying in Brussels for some time."

"I would like to recommend this studio. I think it's the perfect choice for a short stay in Brussels. It is very well located in the city, not far from the city center and it has everything you need to feel like your own home. House is very quiet and the bedroom has a nice view and with a lot of natural light, which is important if you need to study or work. And finally I would like to remark the hospitality of landlords, very friendly and helpful with everything. I really enjoyed my stay there."

Russo Antonio (5/5)

"Very nice and cozy studio in a beautiful house, great location and very friendly landlords. I stayed for three months and was very happy: I think it is a perfect choice for a short stay like mine! "

Edenharter Andrea (5/5)

"Great location, very near to the European Institutions. The studio is very clean und bright. And you don't hear much noise from the street. There's a lot of furniture in the studio, among others a large desk for studying and a very comfortable rocking chair. The kitchen is very well-equipped, which is ideal for someone who loves cooking. It's large enough for a meal with some friends, too. The landlady and the landlord are both fantastic. And they have always great tips when it comes to restaurants, museums etc. In brief: fully recommendable!"

Martínez Laura (5/5)
